Denver to Cañon City is an approximately 2-hour car ride. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi; or do a combination of train and flight. When traveling from Denver in March, plan for a bit warmer days in Cañon City, with highs around 61°F, while nights are about the same with lows around 34°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 19th (Sun) to allow time to drive to Manitou Springs.

Start off your visit on the 19th (Sun): get in on the family fun at Cave of the Winds Mountain Park and then stroll around Manitou Springs Memorial Park. On your second day here, delve into the distant past at Manitou Cliff Dwellings, explore and take pictures at Pikes Peak - America's Mountain, then contemplate the waterfront views at Manitou Springs Incline, and finally examine the collection at Pikes Peak Historical Society Museum.

Traveling by car from Cañon City to Manitou Springs takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Prepare for little chillier weather when traveling from Cañon City in March: high temperatures in Manitou Springs hover around 53°F and lows are around 24°F.
