4 days in Cañon City Itinerary

Part of Colorado's Royal Gorge Region, Cañon City straddles the Arkansas River.

Royal Gorge Bridge and Park has been added to your itinerary. Venture out of the city with trips to Florissant (Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument & Pikes Peak Historical Society Museum) and Cripple Creek (Outlaw and Lawmen Jail Museum, Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine, &more). There's still lots to do: relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, learn about winemaking at The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey, stop by The Gold Mine Rock Shop, and identify plant and animal life at Garden Park Fossil Area.
