Stunning Garden of the Gods Park scenery, blue skies and the glory of Pikes Peak-America’s Mountain have attracted visitors to Colorado Springs for more than a century.
Visiting Helen Hunt Falls and Palmer Park will get you outdoors. Popular historic sites such as Glen Eyrie Castle and South Park City Museum are in your itinerary. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Colorado Springs: Walsenburg Mining Museum (in Walsenburg), Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument (in Florissant) and Pueblo (Rosemount Museum & Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum). There's still lots to do: hike along Seven Bridges Trail, stroll around North Cheyenne Canon Park, take in the exciting artwork at Commonwheel Artists Co-op, and examine the collection at Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center.

For where to stay, other places to visit, traveler tips, and tourist information, use the Colorado Springs trip planning app.

In September, daytime highs in Colorado Springs are °F, while nighttime lows are °F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel back home.
