Stunning Garden of the Gods Park scenery, blue skies and the glory of Pikes Peak-America’s Mountain have attracted visitors to Colorado Springs for more than a century.
Step out of the city life by going to Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center and North Cheyenne Canon Park. Popular historic sites such as Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site and Miramont Castle Museum are in your itinerary. Change things up with these side-trips from Colorado Springs: Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument (in Florissant), Mueller State Park (in Divide) and Cripple Creek (Old Homestead House Museum & Shelf Rd). There's lots more to do: trek along Palmer Park, walk around Fox Run Regional Park, get your game on at Battlefield Colorado, and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Cheyenne Mountain State Park.

To find reviews, ratings, traveler tips, and other tourist information, read our Colorado Springs trip maker tool.

In March, daily temperatures in Colorado Springs can reach 57°F, while at night they dip to 28°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
