  • The staff are super organized and efficient. Friendly, too. Bought E tickets and there was no line, and this was Memorial weekend! This was the nicest zoo. We had a great time. There are big fans scattered around that mist water to help cool you off. They are handicap accessible. The exhibits are so amazing. We were able to watch a grizzly play and swim and were two inches from him. The giraffes 🦒 were fun to feed. I plan to go back. FYI, it's on the side of a mountain so you will be walking on an incline. Wear comfy shoes and if you are disabled or not able to walk uphill, there are wheelchairs and strollers for the kiddos.
  • This is by far one of the BEST zoos I have ever been to! It is on the mountain so there is a lot of walking up and down the mountain. It is so worth it though, you are so close to the animals, and the staff is AMAZING!! My party and I were making sure we saw all the animals before we left, a staff member heard us and started listing all the animals. We did discover that we had missed the grizzlies so he got a cart and literally drove us to the exhibit. He went above and beyond and all the staff was so helpful! The facility was clean, and spacious! There are bathrooms everywhere too so don't worry! You should be going to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, what are you waiting for!!
