ABOUT IVYWILD SCHOOL:It couldn't be easier to arrange your visit to Ivywild School and many more Colorado Springs attractions: make an itinerary online using Inspirock's Colorado Springs sightseeing website.
Ivywild School is a place where neighbors, friends, colleagues and visitors can meet and mingle. A place where you can enjoy great local fare and share ideas. But it’s also much more than that. It’s a flourishing communal atmosphere linking commerce and community with gathering spaces, local cuisine, education, art and gardens. Formerly an elementary school, Ivywild’s façade still holds true to its roots as reimagined spaces fill the halls once again with the voices of children and adults alike.
A virtual and literal hotspot of activity throughout the day, Ivywild is always full of energy. Whether it’s bakers baking fresh bread and pastries in the morning, friends meeting for coffee or craft-brewed beer over lunch, gardeners harvesting the fruits of the season, or people gathering for a small concert or film in the former gym, the school provides an inviting space for kids of all ages. Wide hallways afford plenty of space for relaxing or viewing the ever-changing art offerings. Multiple patios provide al fresco seating in the building’s beautiful Rocky Mountain setting. And a highly-walkable “public square” will host farmer’s markets, festivals, and other special events.
So whether you just want to pick up your morning joe and a freshly baked bagel, linger for lunch and an afternoon cocktail, or grab local produce and some meat for dinner, Ivywild School will be a hub for meeting, eating, drinking and neighboring.
Have you heard the halls of Ivywild are alive with the sounds of music? It’s true! Ivywild Music is hard at work creating a consistent and astounding venue to enjoy live music at Ivywild School. Featuring up and comers, new kids on the 719 block, old favorites and local artists, the Colorado Springs community will definitely be exposed to an array of wonderful sounds. Check back often to see who’s playing.

It was under construction and not much going on when we visited. Could have been the construction and COVID combination. Three bars. Staff was friendly. more »
Awesome experience. Would recommend for anyone visiting the area to see how cool it is they revamped an old school. More of an adult atmosphere. The whiskey bar is great. Love getting to take people here.
Quite possibly the coolest place I’ve ever been!! Great beer, cool people in an unbelievable atmosphere. When in Colorado Springs you have to get it a try!
