Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site is a living history museum (sometimes called an open-air museum) and farm located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Restored buildings and period-appropriate attired museum guides depict life in the Pikes Peak region in four time periods and in four different households: American Indian life in 1775; an 1860s cabin (Galloway Homestead); an 1880s farm (Chambers Home and Ranch); and a 1907 Edwardian Country Estate. Each residence (teepee, log cabin, farm house, mansion) reflects the construction and contents of homes of those periods. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

  • Keep a lookout for frequent events at this living history sight. We've even seen a period baseball game attended by Prez Lincoln himself. Buy a membership to support this beautiful place and save...

  • Nice excursion from the Garden of the Gods. Easy walk with lots of interest. From old equipment to a barn and Indian camp. Worth the hike.

  • Lived here in Colorado Springs for a few years and never heard of or even discovered this gem. Breathtaking the land the homes animals ect. A vintage feel very detailed tour guides. The ladies and gents were very articulate as well as very nice. The children who also aided in the tours and reenactments were also very nice and friendly. It was a lovely Saturday ~we spent the entire better half of our day at this well kept historic site. I would highly recommend if you are visiting or a native. For a History bunny like myself i enjoyed some of Colorado Springs historic past. This museum allows you to be interactive also. Grazie ❤️💜
  • Such a fun area. Beautiful, well cared for, cool animals, great for kids.
