At Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center, experience the piercing gaze and spine-tingling howl of the dog's wild ancestor. Nestled in a scenic mountain setting, the center serves as a sanctuary for wolves, coyotes, and foxes. End the educational wildlife tour with the experience of a group "wolf howl." Note that you need to make online reservations for all tours, especially full-moon tours and volunteer opportunities. An "up-close and personal" photography session with several of the animals is also available for an additional fee. Brought my daughter and my 2 grandsons (7 & 10 years old) to learn about the wolves. The tour and educational information is well worth their prices. I can not speak highly enough about the people working here who interacted with us. They are very well informed, personable, and genuinely care for these wonderful animals. I would do this tour again when we come back to Colorado. Next time I’m hoping to do the VIP.

This place is a really nice place to experience wolves somewhat in the wild. They are a top tier facility with similar credentials as places such as the San Diego Zoo. Thus, they can house critically endangered species like the American Red Wolf. Very cool tour and educational. Great experience!
